The Bengaluru Climate Party
The Climate Party in collaboration with Mod Foundation presents the 14th edition of the Bengaluru Climate Party with a focus on Hidden Water Systems: Walking the line between History and Innovation
It’s almost summertime in Bengaluru…the time when the city makes it to the news every year for its water crisis. As we continue to face recurring water challenges in the city, this session shifts the focus from crisis to understanding, unpacking how historical systems, governance and innovation shape the way water flows through the city today. Through Walk on Bengaluru, an immersive, research-based experience curated by MOD Foundation, participants will engage with large-scale floor maps, trace the transition from tank systems to modern supply networks and build a deeper spatial understanding of the city’s waterscapes.
The session also brings together two perspectives through a dialogue on systems and solutions. Pavan Srinath, managing partner of WELL Labs, reflects on policy shifts and climate strategies shaping a more resilient Bengaluru, while Vikas Brahmavar, co-founder of Boson Whitewater, shares on-ground innovations in wastewater recovery and circular water systems. Together, the session offers a data-backed, multi-layered view into the city’s invisible water infrastructure inviting participants to see Bengaluru through a new lens.
