DESCRIPTION:BLR Design Centre in collaboration with Penciljam community presents “Sketchbook Saturday”. \nPenciljam is a community that gets together on weekends to draw. We fill our sketchbooks with drawings of places\, people\, culture and heritage across India. Sketchbooks are private\, and intimate space for artists to think\, experiment\, and try new ways of designing or creating art. Sketchbook Saturday is a bi-monthly event that sees artists from the Penciljam group sharing their sketchbooks and creative process with the broader creative community. \nAbout Artist – Roshan Shinde \nRoshan is a Game and Concept artist by profession but has been into sketching since his school days – sketching\, comics and movies. He grew up in Mumbai and he did BFA and MFA from Sir J.J School of Art. He has been staying in Bengaluru for more than 3 years and that’s the same time he’s been into urban sketching and exploring different mediums in the process. \nRSVP here
